The client journey within
Staplehurst chiropractic

Starting point: The journey begins with an initial consultation where you share your health history, symptoms, and specific pain points with your chiropractor.

A thorough examination, including physical tests, possible imaging referrals, and discussions about your symptoms and current health status, helps develop a comprehensive understanding of the true cause of your pain.

First Treatments: Initial chiropractic adjustments focus on removing dysfunction from spinal joints and enhancing mobility, thereby controlling and reducing the body’s natural inflammatory response to injury, whether from trauma or repetitive strain.

Initial Care: Frequent visits may be necessary to address acute pain, initiate the healing process, and start teaching the body new and better habits to correct underlying issues. You may receive guidance on pain management techniques, including ice or heat application and personalized exercises.

Re examination – progress review

As tissues start repairing, you are guided to retrain your body. You will notice increased mobility, decreased pain, and improved function, though progress may vary. Daily activities which were once normal usually resume at this stage. Additional help from soft tissue therapy may be required to aid muscle repair and break down scar tissue. Further rehabilitation may be necessary to ensure full recovery. Clients need to decide whether to continue conditioning their body to prevent relapse or reinjury, or risk setbacks by discontinuing care.

Progress exam – check in

Regularly monitor improvements in function, adjusting your spine as needed to support recovery. Incorporate additional rehabilitation exercises to allow for tissue remodelling, building resilience and confidence in your spine. Make necessary lifestyle changes to support your recovery and prevent further injury.

Progress exam – check in

Regular check-ups to identify and address minor issues caused by living your life, corrections before they become significant problems, ensuring sustained health and wellness. Keeping the muscle, joints and nervous system conditioned and tuned for daily activities and any physical demands. Focusing on optimising overall health and wellness to enhance quality of life and physical performance.
